Dame Dogs are OFA health tested on hips and elbows. Please note: the labrador retriever is a breed that is prone to hip and elbow dysplasia.

All parents are fully up to date on vaccinations and all mothers go through a pre-breeding exam before being bred.

We have multiple Veterinarians that provide different types of care/testing for our dogs depending on the field they specialize in.

The AKC is the American Kennel Club . Registration with the AKC assures that you are getting a purebred labrador retriever. You can register your puppy and trace their lineage. Your puppy will come with a limited registration. We do not give breeding rights.

Due to high demand for Labradors, the unpredictability of litter size and the mommas’ heat cycles, it’s difficult to estimate exact timing. We promise it’s worth the wait!

We are not running a puppy mill so if you are looking for the instant gratification of getting a puppy right this moment; then we are not the breeder for you.

You get to take your furever puppy home at 8 weeks old. They will come home with their first set of shots, 4 dewormings, a health certificate signed off by Dame Dogs Vet, and all AKC paperwork.

At 6 weeks old you will get to pick your puppy out via a live video chat!

We do not have families come to our home because of outside germs that can be brought in that could potentially harm momma’s and babies. This is for the safety of our dogs and families furever puppies.

Please note that most of our dogs live in Guardian Homes. This means that when they retire, they are already with their furever families.

We breed all year round (as long as our Reproduction Vet clears our dogs for breeding). We are 100% committed to it; as it’s Jocelyn’s full time job. Her husband works but is very much involved with everything and they are a great team!

We will never over breed our mothers and never breed a mother too young. We work very closely with our Reproduction Vets in every single pregnancy.

All mommas have ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy and an Xray right before their due date to give a good estimate of how many pups she’s carrying. It’s typically 5-8, but there are no guarantees with nature. Litters could be smaller or larger.

Color and gender are always a surprise! Unless we’ve bred for only a certain color.
